July Birthstone - Ruby

As shop owners we all need to prepare for each special event of the year... birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc... So the Promotional Frenzy blog is going to help you with that!

We will be focusing on Birthdays - Each  month is represented by a different gemstone.  We typically call them our birthstones.  You will find birthstones in almost anything - Daughter's Pride rings, Family rings, pendants, on collectable figurines and many more items.

We will be highlighting each month with a short write up and some samples from different Promotional Frenzy member's Etsy Stores and a few guest shops!

Starting with July whose gemstone is Ruby.   The ruby is a lovely red gemstone and has been a favorite since ancient times. The ruby is said to be a gem of passion and promotes balance in love and all spiritual undertakings. The ruby has also been said to promote health and courage.

The gemstone ruby is a variety of the mineral corundum. Ruby is actually rare and one of the most precious and valuable gemstones. Rubies are the second hardest gemstone, after diamonds. Ruby is said to represent the sun.

Here are a few beautiful Ruby items:

  18. I'm impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that's both equally educative
and entertaining, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. The issue is something which not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I'm very
happy that I found this in my hunt for something relating to this.
